Hi

Just thought I'd say hi.

Hi.

I saw a bumper sticker I liked tonight...

Bombing for peace is like screwing for virginity.

'nuff said.

Quick explanation:  we were all so tired after moving Chris/Megan last weekend that we didn't go bowling at that time.  Hence the confusing posts.

night out....for us old folks...

Travis, Megan and Chris knew I REALLY needed a night out tonight.  Therefore, they took me out to dinner @ O'Charley's (I swear, they put crack in their rolls) and then we went bowling.  Bowling.  Me.  It's been at least a decade...

The first game I was thrilled to get 50.  The second was a 67.  The third game was rough at first....at one point T had 77 and I had 3.  I thought we needed to  consider this a golf game...in that case I was kicking his ass.  :o)  However, by the end, I had an 87!!  Tee hee hee.  My all-time high before was something like 72.  Tee hee hee.

It was actually fun.  Pinky (my ball) and I had a good relationship going.  Every so often I would have an affair with Strikey (Chris's ball)...and Pinky would get jealous.  Then I'd use Pinky again....STRIKE!  Then I'd just keep reminding Pinky that I could always go back to Strikey....and Pinky served me well.  (side note:  hmmm think I've watched WAY too much Gilmore Girls...)

In other words, I just tried to have crazy fun.  T is so competitive...so I had fun lightening the mood.  I'll give him credit, he put up with my zaniness well.

It was good.

I am tired.

Catering a wedding with some friends all day tomorrow.

Must get sleep.

home

(from Wednesday 6/27)

Things are not good at home.

Michael needs wisdom to know what to do.

Our father needs to not do something stupid.

Here I am a million miles away (1K, 1M ...same diff).  I can't fix this one.  That's the hardest part.

My heart is simply broken.

If (when) Dad dies.  Michael will have Emily.  Erin won't care (but she'll have Brandon).  Mom will be relieved.  I'll be the one crying in the corner by myself.
